Wyatt Stayner is a a deputy editor at Prison Journalism Project, which trains incarcerated writers to do journalism and publishes their work. He has worked as a newspaper reporter at The Herald newspaper in southwest Indiana, and The Columbian newspaper in Vancouver, Washington. Wyatt holds a master’s degree in journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, and an bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. He is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and now lives in Brooklyn.
